Homeowners were given a copy of the covenants at closing. The other two locations where you can  obtain a copy, is on this web page under the drop down "More" in the top right hand corner or you can log in to your Norton portal, click on “Information” in the bottom left corner, scroll down to “Governing”, and select “CCR”. The Rivers Edge Covenants begin on page 14 of this document.


A complete listing of property modifications that require approval can be found in the Amendatory Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions, and Easements for River’s Edge Subdivision embedded in the CCR document beginning on page 14. The most common modifications can be found in Article VI and include antennas, playground equipment, swimming pools, outbuildings, pet houses, basketball goals visible from the street, driveways, fencing, and landscape plans.


Homeowners can access the “Application for the Modification of Structures and Lots” form logging in to their Norton portal, click the bright yellow box that reads “ACC FORM”, and follow the instructions.


Assessments are mailed out on June 1 of each year.


Assessments are due on or before July 1 of each year.


There are three methods of payment:

Deliver In person to: 971 Queen City Parkway, Ste 205, Gainesville, GA 30501

Mail to: Rivers Edge HOA, c/o Norton Community Management, P.O. Box 3428, Gainesville, GA, 30503

Via the homeowner’s personal Norton portal: https://norton.vmsclientonline.com (Contact Norton for username & password) Select the E-Pay tab or the yellow “Click Here to Pay” box.


Assessments are determined by the HOA board based upon the projected budgetary needs of the community and the prudent financial reserve goal.


Monthly financial statements are available in your personal Norton Portal under “Reports” approximately 15 days after the end of the month. Log in to your account, select “Information” in the bottom left corner, look under “Financials”, and then select “view” for the month you wish to review.


Board members are nominated and voted into office at the annual Homeowners meeting in the 4th Quarter of the calendar year.
